Mr. Gillespie spent 29 years at Booz Allen Hamilton specializing in the Defense Sector. His roles included lead partner of all Booz Allen Navy/USMC/USCG businesses, was the founder of Booz Allen’s presence in the Hampton Roads area serving JFCOM, CINCLANTFLT, Air Combat Command, TRADOC and other defense related client bases. Mr. Gillespie was also lead partner for development of the Huntsville Alabama business as well as the lead partner for creation of NAVAIR business at Patuxent River.

Mr. Gillespie was also Booz Allen’s first recipient of a Diversity Award for a leader, 2009 winner of Society of Women Engineers Harvey Chipp Award (diversity demonstrated by a business leader).

Mr. Gillespie currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Friends of Guest House in Alexandria Va., and as a Board Member for the Carpenter Shelter in Alexandria Va.

Mr. Gillespie graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1977 with a degree in Oceanography. He served as a Surface Warfare Officer from 1977 to 1982 and was in the Naval Reserves from 1982 to 1997 where he retired as a commander.
